Author Guidelines

Overview

Papers are invited from authors worldwide. It is essential that all submissions provide sufficient context for readers to understand and appreciate the contributions.

Types of Papers

The journal considers the following types of papers:

  • Original Research
  • Short Communications
  • Review Papers (including meta-analysis and systematic reviews)
  • Interview Papers

Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted online via the journal's website at https://ejournal.ipubdigi.com/index.php/jomster/about/submissions

Creating an Account

  • User Account Creation: You can create an account by registering yourself as a Reader, Author, or Reviewer.
  • Mandatory Fields: Ensure all fields marked with an asterisk (Username; Password; Repeat Password; First Name; Last Name; Email) are completed.
  • Unique Identifiers: Your username and email must be unique. You can change your email later but not your username.
  • Multiple Roles: If you wish to register for another role, log in, go to "Edit My Profile," and select the desired role.

Submission Steps

  • Upload Submission File: Authors must upload their manuscript and provide metadata for indexing.
  • Supplementary Files: Include data sets, research instruments, or source texts to enhance the manuscript.
  • Track Submission: Authors can monitor the review and editorial process through the journal's website.

Manuscript Requirements

Before submission, ensure your manuscript meets the following criteria:

  • Language and Length: Written in English, with a length between 4 and 20 pages.
  • Reference Management: Use tools like EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero for reference management and formatting. Citations should follow APA style.
  • Format Adherence: Follow the EduLearn format strictly.
  • Title and Abstract: The title should be no more than 10 words without acronyms or abbreviations. The abstract (maximum 200 words) should be self-explanatory, without citations, and include the problem, proposed solution, and major findings.

Manuscript Structure

Authors are encouraged to organize their articles into the following sections:

Introduction

  • Background: Provide context and state-of-the-art information.
  • Problem: Clearly define the problem.
  • Proposed Solution: Outline the manuscript's contribution.
  • Citations: Include at least 10 recent journal articles.

Method

  • Experimental Methods: Detail the methods for reproducibility.

Results and Discussion

  • Findings: Present results clearly and discuss their implications.
  • Comparisons: Compare results with other research.

Conclusion

  • Summary: Summarize the primary outcomes and their significance.

Language and Clarity

  • Grammar and Style: Ensure the manuscript is well-written and free of grammatical errors.
  • Relevance: Avoid describing well-known facts; use references instead.
  • Flow: Ensure the content flows logically from one section to another.

References

  • Minimum References: Include at least 25 to 30 references, primarily from journal articles.
  • Citation Style: Use APA style for in-text citations and the reference list.
  • Avoid Textbooks and Web Pages: Use these sparingly or avoid them entirely.

Figures and Tables

Figures

  • Numbered in order of appearance.
  • Include captions explaining the content.
  • Captions appear below the figure.
  • Cite figures if taken from another source.
  • Refer to figures in the text.

Tables

  • Numbered in order of appearance.
  • Include captions explaining the content.
  • Clear column headings.
  • Use single horizontal lines under the caption, column headings, and at the end of the table.
  • Cite tables if taken from another source.
  • Refer to tables in the text.

In-Text Citations (APA Style)

Format: Use APA style for in-text citations.

Examples:

  • This theory was first put forward in 1970 (Sutikno, 1970).
  • Sutikno (2020) has argued that...
  • Several recent studies (Smith, 2018; Johnson, 2019; Brown, 2020) have suggested that....
  • ...end of the line for my research (Doe, 2021).

Final Submission

  • Page Layout: Ensure the last page is not half-empty.
  • Corresponding Author: Designate one author as the corresponding author and provide contact information.

Final Notes

Papers that do not meet the requirements will be returned for revision. Only correctly formatted papers will be considered by the Editors.
