This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) within the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 2 Kotaagung. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, document analysis, and questionnaires involving teachers, administrators, and students. The findings indicate that while teacher readiness and understanding of project objectives were high, teacher involvement in the planning process was moderate. The organization of activities utilized a block system, allowing students to focus intensively on project themes such as local wisdom and technological engineering. Despite effective implementation structures, student engagement varied, with a notable proportion of students being less active. Achievement of the six Pancasila Student Profile dimensions was generally positive, especially in mutual cooperation and creativity, although critical reasoning remained underdeveloped. Challenges identified include limited teacher participation in planning, insufficient operational guidelines, minimal funding, and lack of comprehensive external supervision. To address these issues, the study recommends more inclusive planning, development of clear standard operating procedures, increased involvement of school committees and community stakeholders, and systematic program evaluation. These measures are essential to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of P5, ensuring students acquire both character and competencies relevant to the demands of the 21st century.
